Gorolive.com – Man United News Highlights
Manchester United will head out on a summer tour for pre-season for the first time since 2019.
The pandemic brought global tours to a standstill, with United and other Premier League sides restricted to playing their friendlies in England over the last two years.
But Erik ten Hag's new-look Red Devils will be jetting off across the globe this summer. Here's everything you need to know about Man Utd's pre-season plans.
Man Utd have confirmed they will be heading to Thailand and Australia for their pre-season tour.
Ten Hag's men smashed rivals Liverpool 4-0 in Bangkok before besting Melbourne Victory 4-1 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia. They then took on Crystal Palace at the same venue, winning 3-1.
United then threw away a lead against Aston Villa to draw 2-2 in Perth before travelling to Norway, where Ten Hag suffered his first defeat to Atletico Madrid.
One day after facing Diego Simeone's men, Ten Hag will take charge of his first game at Old Trafford in one final friendly against Rayo Vallecano.
All times BST.
Man Utd's official club TV channel, MUTV, will broadcast every pre-season game this summer, though friendlies in Thailand and Australia will not be available to watch in those respective countries due to exclusive domestic broadcast rights.
